Not at all — in fact, reaching out early can be an advantage. Understanding the publishing process before you complete your manuscript helps you write with your audience and distribution in mind. Many of our most successful authors started conversations with us while they were still mid-draft.
Your manuscript is treated with complete confidentiality. It is read only by the publishing consultant assigned to your account. It is never shared, repurposed, or redistributed. If you require a Non-Disclosure Agreement before submitting, we are happy to sign one — simply request it in your message.
You do not need to decide before reaching out. During the consultation we will ask about your goals, timeline, budget, and what you hope to achieve — and then honestly recommend the plan that fits best. There is no upselling.
